The Story Behind the Spice

We couldn't find the flavors of Karachi's Burns Road anywhere near Franklin Park — so we built it ourselves, from the spices up.

The buffet was absolutely amazing with a wide variety of dishes offering something for everyone. I especially enjoyed the biryani, it had an authentic Karachi-style flavor that truly stood out and reminded me of home. The paya and nihari were rich, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, and the bun kebab was on another level, definitely one of the highlights of the meal.

Loved the Karachi style bun kebabs! The biryani was great too. We stopped by after a really long flight and even with a party about to start soon, they still let us dine in. Desi food that truly hit the spot. Super friendly staff. A little late to write the review but I definitely had to.

Great buffet experience. The nihari was the star — tender, balanced, and not too spicy. The biryani was flavorful with good‑quality rice. I also really enjoyed the potato tarkari, chana, and the daal chawal was honestly excellent.
